WHO WE ARE
Give to Give is a Christian faith-based organization that exists to advance the Kingdom of God through family strengthening. We believe this happens when families are given the tools necessary to thrive spiritually, emotionally, and physically. God is passionate about family, and we want to see families living in the divine design intended for them! Our name is inspired by Matthew 10:8 “freely you have received, freely give“. We believe we can promote health in families by giving what God has given us whether tangible or intangible. God, the Father, gave His Son so that we could be reconciled back to the Himself and family we were created for.
WHAT WE DO
Our mission is to connect the Body of Christ to the needs of the world. Therefore, our projects focus on social services, community development, education, and spiritual formation. We invest in schools, churches, local businesses, families, and children’s homes. We believe meeting people’s needs opens the door for us to share the Gospel of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
PROGRAMS
TO GIVE IS TO LOVE
MENTORSHIP
In this program adults and young adults come alongside children living in children’s homes by becoming mentors. These children are desperate for attention, affection, and direction from an older generation. Our mentors powerfully impact this vulnerable generation by giving their time, helping with school homework, providing emotional support, teaching a skill, and offering spiritual discipleship. We train our volunteers in order to facilitate a positive experience for both the children and the volunteers.
SOWING INTO THE FUTURE
SUSTAINABILITY
This program focuses on empowering poverty-stricken families, widows, and single mothers to become more self-sustainable economically. We do this by providing high quality occupational training in various professions such as the culinary arts and landscaping. Providing underprivileged people with opportunity gives them the tools needed to become business owners and provide for their families in a more effective manner.
ONE HOUSE AT A TIME
CONSTRUCTION
This program focuses on providing better living conditions for disadvantaged families. Whether big undertakings such as building an entirely new house to meeting small needs (i.e. supplying a gas stove, filtered water, adding on a kitchen or bathroom, etc.) we do what we can to help families raise their kids in acceptable living conditions. We believe houses become homes when children have what they need for healthy growth and development. While our volunteers are on the construction site, spiritual discipleship is given to the parents and children of the families.
IT’S BETTER TO GIVE
PARTNERSHIP
Give to Give firmly believes in the value of partnership and networking. We eagerly seeks ways we can come alongside other organizations, churches, and groups who carry a similar vision. When we receive resources that better serves one of our partnering organizations, we are quick to shares our supplies. Through networking we are able to do one-time events such as dental clinics, medical clinics, feeding programs, assist sports programs, train missionaries and more. We believe are better together.
